My name is Melinda Tar and I live in one of Europe's most vibrant and beautiful capital cities:Budapest. I use one of the oldest techniques when working with wool, called felting. Our ancestors developed felting, using wool and various other animal hair to produce durable and sturdy materials that successfully battled all weather conditions. I mostly use nuno felting, a techniquethat bonds loose woolfibre into a sheer fabric such as silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt. I design and create unique scarves, shawls, dresses, vests and handbags. I hope you will enjoy having a look through my work!
